Philosophy:

As a senior therapist in our family counseling practice, my approach to helping people has been anchored in my Christian convictions and my biblical training. As a therapist, I believe it is of utmost importance that individuals acquire an accurate and honest view of themselves. Someone has said, "The truest thing about any of us, is what God says about us." Realizing this truth and applying it to one's life will make all the difference in the world. In marriage counseling, I take a proactive and interactive role in my work with couples and require that each participant strive, at all times, to take personal responsibility for his/her behaviors and beliefs. I take great care in extending grace to each and every person that walks into my office.

Personal:

I have had the blessing of being raised in a strong Christian home in which my father was a Baptist minister. Growing up in that environment helped prepare me to effectively care for people and lead them toward healthier relationships in their homes. I love to ride my Harley with my wife of 38 years, fly-fish with my two sons, stomp around in the beautiful Colorado snow, and embrace every opportunity I get to be with my beloved family. I hope to get the opportunity to be of assistance to you and your loved ones.
